Mancera Royal Vanilla, launched in 2019 and created by Pierre Montale, is a sweet floral gourmand with a bright opening. It has good long-lasting performance with moderate projection, making it easier to control than heavier Mancera scents. Fall, spring, and winter suit it especially well.
The first ten minutes are rose water, rose, rhubarb leaf, and citruses. Around the twenty minute mark violet, rose petals, caramel, and orange blossom take over and the opening pulls back. The dry down settles into vanilla, amber, patchouli leaf, and white musk. Expect around 6 to 9 hours. Projects at arm’s length for the first couple of hours.
Best for anyone who enjoys sweet vanilla and rose fragrances for dates, evenings, casual outings, and parties. If you usually prefer dry or fresh scents, sampling first is a good idea because the caramel and vanilla make it noticeably sweet. It holds up through the humid months, where heavier fragrances collapse, which makes it workable across most of the Bangladeshi year.
