Opus XIV Royal Tobacco, launched in 2022 by the Omani luxury house Amouage, was created by perfumer Cecile Zarokian for the Library Collection.
The first ten minutes are frankincense, elemi, cardamom, and anise. Around the twenty minute mark tobacco, licorice, lavender, and fenugreek take over and the opening pulls back. The dry down settles into frankincense, myrrh, benzoin, and labdanum. Expect around 9 to 12 hours or more. Projects hard and carries across a room.
