This explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. No hidden clauses.

What we collect
When you order
- Name
- Delivery address
- Phone number
- Email address
- What you bought and what you paid
- Payment method
When you pay online
Card and mobile financial service payments are handled by third party providers. The transaction details reach us. Your full card number never does. We could not store it even if we wanted to.
When you create an account
Your email, a password stored as an encrypted hash, your order history, and anything you saved to your wishlist.
When you leave a review
Your name or chosen display name, your rating, and what you wrote.
When you visit the site
Standard web information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, where you arrived from, and how long you stayed. This is collected automatically by our hosting and analytics tools.
When you message us
Whatever you send us on WhatsApp, email, Instagram or Facebook, along with our replies. We keep these so we can look up a past conversation when you contact us again.
Why we collect it

Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary, and only with:
Courier partners. Your name, address and phone number, so they can deliver your parcel. They cannot use it for anything else.
Payment providers. bKash, Nagad, our card processor and our bank, to take payment and issue refunds.
Our hosting and site tools. The servers that run arovell.com, and the analytics that tell us how it is being used.
Authorities, if legally required. If a court or a government body with proper authority requires it.
We do not sell your information. To anyone. Ever. We have never done it and we are not going to. There is no version of this business where selling customer data makes sense.
Marketing
If you agree to it, we may message you about new arrivals, restocks and offers.
You can stop this at any time. Reply STOP on WhatsApp, click unsubscribe in any email, or just tell us. We will not keep messaging you and we will not ask why.
Order confirmations, delivery updates and replies to your own questions are not marketing. You get those regardless, because they are part of the order you placed.
Cookies
The site uses cookies for:
- Essential functions. Your cart, your login session, checkout. The site

Security
We use HTTPS across the whole site, so anything you send is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored as hashes and cannot be read by us. Access to customer data is limited to people who need it to do their job.
No system is perfectly secure and we are not going to claim otherwise. If a breach ever affects your information, we will tell you promptly and plainly rather than burying it.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you
- Correct anything wrong
- Delete your account and personal details, where we are not legally
- Stop marketing to you
- Send you a copy of your order history

We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. That is to protect you, not to obstruct you.
Note that we cannot delete records we are legally required to retain, such as completed transactions needed for tax purposes. We will delete everything else.
Children
Arovell is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will remove it.
Third party links
Our site links to other places: fragrance databases, our social accounts, payment providers. Once you leave arovell.com you are covered by their privacy policy, not ours. We do not control what they collect.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
Legal basis
We handle personal information in line with applicable Bangladeshi law, including the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009.
Bangladesh does not currently have a single comprehensive data protection statute in force. We have written this policy to the standard we would want applied to our own information rather than to the legal minimum, and we will update it as the law develops.
