These terms cover your use of arovell.com and any order you place with us. By ordering, you agree to them. They are written in plain language on purpose.

Arovell, Trade Licence [to be added], registered at House 01, Road 13, Block C, Level 05, Banasree, Dhaka, Bangladesh. In these terms "we", "us" and "Arovell" mean that company. "You" means the person placing the order.

1. What we sell

Arovell sells decants: smaller quantities of an original fragrance, transferred by hand from a full size bottle into a glass atomiser.

A decant is not a miniature sold by the fragrance house, and it is not packaged, branded or authorised by them. It is the same liquid, in a different container.

We do not sell oils, dupes, reformulated blends or refills. Every decant is poured from a sealed, authentic bottle.

2. Authenticity

We buy from authorised distributors and verified suppliers, and we check every bottle before it is opened for decanting.

We stand behind the authenticity of what we pour. If you have a genuine reason to believe a product is not what we say it is, contact us and we will investigate properly rather than defensively.

Batch variation is a real phenomenon in perfumery. Some fragrances, Creed Aventus being the best known example, smell measurably different between production batches. This is the manufacturer's variation, not a defect on our side, and it is one of the reasons buying a decant first is sensible.

3. Product information

We describe fragrances as accurately as we can, including the parts people dislike. Notes, longevity and projection ratings reflect the general consensus and our own testing.

Fragrance is subjective and skin chemistry is real. The same scent can perform differently on two people, and differently again in Dhaka humidity than in a cooler climate. Our descriptions are guidance, not a guarantee of how something will smell or last on you.

Bottle designs change without notice from the manufacturer. Photographs show the source bottle, which may differ in appearance from the one currently in stock. The fragrance inside is unaffected.

4. Pricing and availability

All prices are in Bangladeshi Taka and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Prices change. The price shown when you place your order is the price that applies to that order.

If an item is out of stock after you order, we will tell you promptly and offer a replacement or a full refund. We do not silently substitute one fragrance for another.

Obvious pricing errors, a fragrance listed at a fraction of its real value because of a typing mistake, do not create a binding contract. We will cancel and refund rather than honour a clear mistake, and we will tell you why.

Offers do not combine. Only one offer applies to any order. Free delivery on orders over ৳3,000 does not apply where a coupon code or other promotion has been used, and the standard delivery charge applies instead. Checkout shows the total either way, so you can compare and take whichever saves you more.

5. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we confirm dispatch, not when you click the button.

We may decline or cancel an order where:

• The item is unavailable
• We cannot verify the delivery address or contact details
• There is a pricing or listing error
• We have reason to believe the order is fraudulent
• A customer has repeatedly refused cash on delivery parcels

Decants are poured to order. Once poured, the fragrance cannot be returned to the source bottle, which is why cancellations need to reach us quickly.

6. Payment

We accept:

• Cash on delivery
• bKash
• Nagad
• Card and online payment
• Bank transfer

Cash on delivery is available in most areas. We may ask for advance payment on high value orders, on orders to addresses we cannot verify, or where previous cash on delivery parcels were refused.

Online payments are processed by third party providers. We do not see or store your full card details.

7. Delivery

We deliver across Bangladesh through third party courier partners.

Typical delivery is 24 to 72 hours, inside Dhaka and elsewhere. These are estimates, not guarantees. Courier delays, weather and public holidays affect delivery and are outside our control.

Delivery is ৳80 inside Dhaka and ৳140 outside Dhaka. Orders over ৳3,000 ship free, except where a coupon code or promotion has been applied, as set out in section 4. The charge that applies to your order is shown at checkout before you pay.

Risk passes to you on delivery. If a parcel arrives damaged, see our Returns & Refunds policy, which covers exactly this.

Please give an address someone can actually receive a parcel at, and a phone number that will be answered. Most failed deliveries are caused by an unanswered phone.

8. Returns

Decants are opened products and cannot be resold. We replace or refund for transit damage, wrong items and faulty atomisers. We cannot accept returns because you changed your mind or because a fragrance did not suit you.

9. Storage and use

Fragrance is flammable. Store away from heat, direct sunlight and open flame.

Keep decants out of reach of children. The atomisers are small and the liquid is not safe to swallow.

Do not apply to broken or irritated skin. If irritation occurs, stop using the product. If you have known fragrance sensitivities, test a small amount on your inner arm first. We publish full note listings so you can check for materials you react to, but we cannot list every constituent of a finished fragrance.

Decants keep well in a cool, dark place. Heat and sunlight degrade fragrance faster than time does.

10. Intellectual property

Fragrance names, house names, logos and bottle designs are the property of their respective owners. We reference them to identify what is inside a decant. Arovell is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an authorised retailer for any fragrance house unless we explicitly say so.

All original content on arovell.com, including our product descriptions, photography and written guides, belongs to us. You are welcome to link to it. You may not copy it wholesale onto another shop.

11. Reviews and submissions

If you leave a review you confirm it reflects your genuine experience. We publish honest negative reviews. We remove reviews that are abusive, contain personal information, or are clearly not from a real customer.

By submitting a review you give us permission to display it on the site.

12. Liability

We are responsible for supplying what you ordered, in the condition described.

We are not liable for skin reactions where you have applied a fragrance against the guidance above, for courier delays outside our control, or for dissatisfaction based on personal preference.

Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by Bangladeshi law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here when you place your order. Material changes will be dated at the top of this page.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh have jurisdiction over any dispute.

We would much rather sort a problem out by message than by lawyer. Contact us first.
