The first ten minutes are vanilla pod, cashmere wood, oriental notes, and liquor. Around the twenty minute mark amber, sugar cane, and cedarwood take over and the opening pulls back. The dry down settles into tonka, sandalwood, musk, and labdanum. Expect around 6 to 9 hours. Projects at arm’s length for the first couple of hours. Best for men who want a warm sweet amber scent for evenings, dates, and cold days in fall and winter. In Bangladesh that means the cool stretch from November to February. In Dhaka humidity a scent this warm turns heavy fast, so one or two sprays goes further than you think. Firmly on the sweet side, so skip it if gourmands give you a headache.
