Kilian Angels' Share is a 2020 Eau de Parfum created by Benoist Lapouza, built around the smell of cognac resting in oak. It is sweet, boozy, warm, and unmistakably gourmand, but the wood and spice keep it from smelling like plain vanilla syrup.
The first ten minutes are dominated by cognac with a warm alcoholic sweetness. Around the twenty minute mark cinnamon, tonka bean, and oak become clearer and give the scent its baked, barrel-aged character. The dry down turns smoother and sweeter with vanilla, praline, and sandalwood. Expect long wear with strong early projection, especially on clothes.
