Vetiver Parfum, launched in 2024 by the legendary French house Guerlain and created by perfumer Delphine Jelk, is a darker, deeper reinterpretation of Guerlain's iconic vetiver theme. It opens green and a little bitter with juniper berries and coriander before the vetiver takes over.
The heart is a realistic, earthy, mossy vetiver wrapped in soft smoke, while licorice and creamy tonka bean in the base add a lightly sweet, boozy depth with moderate projection and enormous longevity.
Best for men who want an earthy, refined scent for daily wear, the office, and evenings across most seasons. It is woodier and smokier than the airy classic EDT, a dark forest vetiver with typical Guerlain good taste that easily lasts a full day and beyond.
