Yuzuyakuza, launched in 2025 by the Italian niche house Spiritica and created by a team led by perfumer Luca Maffei, is a conceptual scent inspired by the neon lit underworld of Tokyo's Kabukicho. It opens as sharp as a blade with yuzu, sudachi, gunpowder, pineapple, and grapefruit that feel citrusy and metallic.
A moody heart of cherry blossom, ink, petrichor, and wet asphalt recreates a rainy Japanese street at night, while suede, mahogany, incense, and cedarwood in the base leave a smoky, leathery trail with strong projection and very long lasting power at extrait strength.
